Clinic Cancellation Policy
Clinics and associated events require significant coordination. As such, strict cancellation policies apply:
Non-refundable: Clinics are non-refundable. However, you may contact Scott and Lindee McNaughton to check if there is a waiting list.
Minimum Attendance Requirement: Clinics must meet a minimum number of participants to proceed. If a clinic is cancelled due to insufficient numbers, a full refund will be issued, minus a $10 administrative fee per participant.
Changes to Clinic Details: Clinic details are subject to change without notice.
Medical or Veterinary Cancellations: If you have a valid medical or veterinary certificate and cancel within 14 days:
If a substitute rider is found, the full clinic fee will be refunded.
If no substitute rider is available and the reason for cancellation is valid, the clinic fee can be credited towards the next clinic.
Late Cancellations: Any cancellation made after the 14-day period is non-refundable. However:
In cases of illness (with a medical certificate), a death in the immediate family, or inclement weather, participants may attend another clinic within six (6) months.
If the clinic is cancelled due to the Scott and Lindee McNaughton professional clinician being unwell or the host venue becoming unavailable, alternative clinic dates will be offered. If no alternative is available, a refund or transfer to a new date will be provided.
Weather Considerations for Clinics & Lessons
Scott and Lindee McNaughton prioritise the safety of participants and horses.
Clinics are conducted in a safe environment, including monitoring weather conditions.
If weather conditions pose a risk to participants or horses, a cancellation will be advised.
If a clinic is postponed due to weather, your fee will be transferred to the rescheduled date or another available clinic within the same year.
Refunds due to weather cancellations are at the discretion of Scott and Lindee McNaughton.
If travel conditions become hazardous on the day of the clinic, participants should use their own judgment regarding attendance. Those unable to attend due to inclement weather should contact Scott and Lindee McNaughton promptly to discuss options.
